Baskets of Life is a faith based non-profit organization which minsters to the economically, socially, and spiritually disadvantaged in Central Ohio.
Participants at Baskets of Life in Newark, OH receive supplies and our host, the Wright Memorial Church, furnishes a light meal.

For our March meeting, Jody brought her keyboard and sang praise music for 30 minutes. She is extremely talented and the audience really enjoyed the concert.

In August, Gary and his dog talked about the Bible and the importance of Obedience. Children and adults alike enjoyed an interesting human - dog conversation.
The Christian Growth Group
After the Baskets of Life talk and a tasty meal, the Christan Growth Group meets from 4:30 - 5:30. It's for anyone who wants to learn how to grow as a Christian. Those who attend receive a Bible, notebook and other material.

After listening to the program, participants line up to receive their toiletries or laundry supplies. They have the option of exchanging a few products at the Exchange Table. The Free Table is an opportunity for the participants to pickup miscellaneous items such as books, stationery, pencils, devotions, markers etc. depending on what is available that month. Afterwards, attendees may sit down to a light meal furnished by members of the Wright Memorial UMC.
"He did this to prepare All God's people for work of Christian service. And so, we shall all come together to that oneness. Under His control all the different parts of the body fit together ... so that when each separate part works as it should, the whole body grows and builds itself up through love, by speaking the truth in love."
